Michael is a representational artist depicting western themes, wildlife and landscape images. For five years he has served on the board of directors and is a first year member at large of the executive board of directors for the Clymer Museum and Gallery where he serves on numerous committees. He is co-curator and juror for The 2014 Northwest Experience Art Exhibition at The Clymer Museum and Gallery. He has been living and teaching painting and drawing in the Northwest for the last 23 years. Michael enjoys painting in the style of Plein Air but he is currently focussing his energy on a series of paintings from his studio. Michael has shown his work at numerous shows including the Phippen Museum Show, The Great Western Living and Design Show during Great Falls, Montana Western Art Week, and the Ellensburg Western Art Association Show 2002-2008. He has also shown at the Othello Sand Hill Crane Festival. His work is featured on the 2007 Sandhill Crane Festival Poster. In 2008 he participated in a two person show at the Clymer Museum. Michael’s work is included in several prominent collections.
