Jerri has her studio in Ocean Shores Washington. The Studio name is Sleeping Bear. Jerri began painting at an early age and is self taught. She mainly works with soft pastels but occasionally picks up a brush and works with oils. In the 70’s at a gallery in Depoe Bay, Oregon Patrick Wayne saw her work and commissioned Jerri to go on movie location and paint an oil painting of his father John Wayne.The Bob Hope estate is also an owner of one of her oils. Jerri’s work can be found presently in galleries in Oregon and Washington and she attends many of the major art shows in the Northwest. Jerri has won many awards but she is most proud of winning the 2012 Nancy McLaughlin award at the Celebration of Western and Wildlife Art Show. The award is given annually to the female artist judged the most versatile in artistic talent.
